** THE ROLE
** Merch Traffic is currently hiring a Shipping Coordinator. This person will be responsible for tracking purchasing orders, coordinating shipping from suppliers to multiple locations worldwide, and completing receipts in our inventory software.
** WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
*** Manage and coordinate all shipment activities across all lines of business, domestic and international
* Work across all departments, 3P distributors, and other parties to ensure product gets to the right place, on time, and at the best possible cost
* Ensure all shipments are compliant with interstate traffic laws and regulations
* Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, and damages
* Monitor production team open purchase orders to ensure timely receiving of goods
** WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
*** 2 to 4 years of shipping and logistics experience
* Familiarity with freight, UPS, Fed Ex, and DHL, both domestically and internationally
* Strong mastery of Excel
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
* Detail and deadline-oriented, with strong follow through
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Possess a positive work attitude with the ability to work on multiple projects at one time
* Work experience in entertainment and/or music industries a plus
