Customer Service Rep, Server/Wait Staff
Location: New York
Floor Staff – Hourly Rate: $17.00
Team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and/or employee availability as variable hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular, or full‑time hourly employees. Their primary responsibility is ensuring guests receive exceptional service. Team members may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. They must act as a representative of Regal in a way that is consistent with our mission statement and policies, including regular and consistent attendance, handling emergency situations when called upon, general cleaning duties, and compliance with our company dress code.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Box Office- Operate POS system, ensuring accurate cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed discount tickets, passes, and coupons.
- Upsell/suggestive sell Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
- Respond to phone calls and questions from guests in a manner that is consistent with our guest‑service philosophy.
- Operate POS system, managing cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed coupons, and concession stock inventory.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Operate, prepare, and clean all concession‑related equipment.
- Upsell/suggestive sell.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal food‑safety laws.
- Abide by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and/or meal periods.
- Maintain current alcohol certification and training where applicable.
- If alcohol is sold, ensure legal age to sell or serve according to state or local laws.
- Complete training on sexual harassment and discrimination.
- Tear tickets, collect and deposit appropriate stubs, and direct patrons to their auditoriums.
- Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
- Manage crowd control and assist guests in locating seats when necessary.
- Enforce the MPAA rating system.
- Conduct in‑theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, watch for film and content theft, and help maintain a safe, quality environment.
- Report to management any problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations that arise.
- Perform in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed.
- Clean auditoriums at the end of scheduled shows and maintain clean restrooms, lobby area, hallways, and other areas outside the auditorium.
- Monitor the cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
- Assist with all opening and closing duties as assigned.
$17.00 hourly

Qualifications Education/ExperienceCompletion of cast certification program as a cast member and as a box‑office cashier or progress toward completion required.
If the theatre sells alcohol and your duties include selling/serving alcohol, complete any legally required state or local training and obtain the required certificate, including Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University.

Math AbilityPerform calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors.
Reasoning AbilityIdentify problems, gather relevant data, note possible causes, evaluate information, recognize alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence. Take action beyond what is necessarily called for and perform under pressure and/or opposition.

Physical DemandsThe employee frequently stands, walks, sits, uses hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaches with hands and arms, and talks or hears. Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May occasionally lift up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
