Vee Friends is a contemporary entertainment company that combines art, storytelling, collecting, events, and innovative technologies to build a community around a movement of kindness and positivity. The company’s mission is to scale its unique Vee Friends characters and their attributes to create a better world. These characters foster a sense of community and inspire creativity, self-discovery, accountability, and personal growth.

Comprised of characters originally hand-drawn and brought to life by Gary Vaynerchuk, there are 283 Vee Friends, all of which Gary imagined, created, and drew himself. Each character represents traits and qualities Gary admires and hopes to inspire in others.

We’re seeking enthusiastic and engaging freelance livestream hosts (1099 contractors) to join our fast-paced live commerce team on a part-time, contract basis.

Breaking trading cards is at the core of the role, and we’re looking for people who can bring high energy, strong camera presence, and a love for storytelling, collectibles, and community. Whether you have experience breaking TCGs, selling comics, or creating content around collectibles, we want you to help bring Vee Friends products to life in a live, interactive format.

As a host, you’ll be contracted to lead livestream broadcasts on platforms like Whatnot, Tik Tok Live, eBay Live, and Fanatics Live—entertaining audiences, driving engagement, and supporting product sales. This is a high-energy, on-site role where you’ll help create memorable moments for the Vee Friends community while showcasing exclusive products.

• Perform contracted livestream services from our NYC locations (Hudson Yards)
• Host interactive live streams featuring Vee Friends products including all collectibles, card breaks, comics, and more
• Bring high energy and charisma to the audience while presenting and explaining collectibles is paramount. Experience with “breaking” is not required - but a significant plus.
• Interact with viewers in real time while simultaneously presenting and promoting Vee Friends products and educating the audience about Vee Friend's wider mission, core values, characters, and more.
• Receive initial and ongoing training and education about Vee Friends characters, category lines, and products to properly position and describe our brand and collectible products to a newly initiated audience.
• Apply existing knowledge and expertise of various Collectibles categories (including Comics, Sports & Trading Cards, TCG, Coins, and more) as a strong reference point for appropriately positioning Vee Friend's brand and product lines.
• Utilize platform best practices and opportunities (e.g., Whatnot, Tik Tok Live, eBay Live, and Fanatics Live) to appropriately engage and sell to consumers based on the platform’s nuances.
• Focus on driving sales and engagement metrics by leveraging learnings from prior live stream content and hosting highly engaging and compelling live streams.
• Develop post-show reporting for the wider Vee Friends team comprising key takeaways, audience feedback, and insights & opportunities to improve future streams.
• Participate in occasional content capture for thumbnails and promotional use

• You’re enthusiastic about both the Vee Friends brand and Live Commerce as a channel opportunity. You passionately explore everything from brand content and character development to new product “drops” and the nuances of the live commerce platform.
• You thrive in fast-paced environments and can quickly learn new tools and technologies.
• A proven passion and expertise in collectibles - including Comics, TCGs, Apparel, Sports Memorabilia, & Cards. You re eager to share your excitement for exclusive, limited-edition products and drops with our vibrant community. Experience as a creator, live streamer and card breaker is not required but a big plus.
• Passionate and curious about attracting and developing audience & viewership growth and engagement. A mutual respect and understanding for storytelling and engagement and sales and scale.
