As a member of our award-winning Field Service team, you will be instrumental in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting our award‑winning games at customer sites.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs), Electronic Table Games (ETGs), and related equipment, ensuring compliance with Gaming Commission and company standards.
- Ensure proper operation of EGMs and ETGs via diagnostic tests, software settings, and functional testing.
- Navigate Management Terminal daily to verify EGM/ETG status.
- Assemble and prepare accessories for installations per change order.
- Complete accurate incident reports and maintenance records in a clear and precise manner.
- Maintain detailed daily and weekly technology logs.
- Adhere to L&W’s Field Service established standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures (vehicle safety, loading games, ladder use, and electricity).
- Keep all tools and equipment in proper, safe, and working condition.
- Stay current with all Light & Wonder Field Advisories and eLearning.
- Review customer issues with management and technical lead as they arise.
- At least 21 years of age, with a valid driver’s license; able to obtain and maintain gaming licenses as required.
- One year of experience in assembly, testing, and repair of electronic gaming devices, or six months experience with a related gaming school certificate of completion, or equivalent.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for isolating and correcting problems to the assembly level.
- Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming‑type devices.
- Basic understanding of network communication and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs (on a regular basis for short distances) and transport heavy equipment using proper moving devices.
- Safe and proper use of hand and power tools.
- Basic PC operation skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read Light & Wonder schematics and service manuals.
- Preparation of conversion projects or installations with limited supervision.
- Strong customer relations skills, both internally and externally.
- Knowledge of current Light & Wonder gaming devices to the assembly level.
- Problem‑solving skills.
- Travel to other facilities within the department may be required.
Pay range: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour, with eligibility for overtime and supplemental earnings. Compensation is based on skill set, experience, geography, equity, and market data.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; college‑level electronics training is helpful.
Work Conditions:
Typical of similar jobs; responsible for obtaining gaming or other licenses, undergoing background investigations, and meeting regulatory requirements.
