Equity Actors Production of "Coal Miner's Daughter

Position Overview

Equity actors needed for roles in a Level 2 Off-Broadway Development Session for Coal Miner's Daughter.

Off Broadway rate: $681 weekly minimum (Level
2).

Audition day lunch from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Developmental session dates:
October 5–30, 2026. EPA procedures are in effect. An Equity Monitor will be provided. All applicants must bring an Equity Membership card to auditions.

Please prepare a brief country song. Bring sheet music for the piano accompanist. Alternatively, sing a brief country song while accompanying yourself on an instrument. Bring a headshot and resume stapled together.

All characters sing in an authentic country/folk style, including falsetto for men and strong mixing and vocal flips (yodeling style) for women. The approach should feel natural, easy, and from the gut.
