- Conduct daily public tours of Radio City Music Hall in an orderly and safe fashion.
- Memorize a 20–25 page script and present in a clear, concise, informative, and entertaining manner.
- Memorize multiple tour routes and become familiar with all front of house and back of house areas of the venues.
- Assist fellow Tour Guides with large groups from time to time.
- Secure, return, and observe proper use of equipment such as radios, keys, uniforms, locker room, props, and technology during tours.
- Interact cordially with other departments and stay up-to-date on company news and upcoming events.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Conduct a minimum of 3–4 tours per day and provide exceptional experiences while adhering to appearance and presentation guidelines on-site.
- Experience in a tour-related or entertainment setting is desirable.
- Strong public speaking and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Background in theater, performing arts, or communications is helpful.
- Excellent memorization and time management skills with the ability to articulate and energize the presentation.
- Ability to adapt to changes to the tour script, route, and assignment on short notice.
- Good organizational skills to check in groups and collect tickets as necessary.
- General physical requirements such as lifting 25 lbs, standing for long periods, walking long distances, bending, and constant motion; must traverse steps and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in a second language is not required but is a plus.
- Must be available 4 days a week, including Sundays and holidays as needed.
Hourly Pay Range $24 USD
