Joanne Trattoria is seeking a dependable, creative, and hands-on Production Intern to support our live entertainment programming, special events, and day-to-day production needs.
This role is ideal for someone interested in live events, entertainment production, hospitality, music, theater, or creative direction. The Production Intern will work closely with Joanne’s entertainment and production team to help prepare, execute, and document performances and events within an active restaurant environment.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with the setup and breakdown of live performances, private events, and special programming
Help prepare microphones, speakers, music stands, cables, lighting, signage, and other production materials
Support sound checks, performer arrivals, and backstage or green room needs
Help maintain event schedules, production notes, run-of-show documents, and performer information
Communicate professionally with artists, hosts, musicians, vendors, and restaurant staff
Assist with guest check-in, seating coordination, ticketing, and audience flow when needed
Capture behind-the-scenes photo and video content for internal documentation and social media
Help organize and maintain production equipment, storage areas, and event materials
Support the Entertainment Director and production team with administrative and creative tasks
Remain attentive throughout events and assist with troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment
QualificationsInterest in live entertainment, event production, music, theater, hospitality, or creative media
Strong organizational and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable taking initiative
Able to remain calm and professional in a busy live-event environment
Comfortable working collaboratively with performers, guests, and restaurant staff
Willingness to assist with both creative and hands-on production tasks
Basic knowledge of audio, lighting, photography, video, or social media is helpful but not required
Must be able to lift and move light production equipment
Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred

ScheduleThis is a part-time internship with a flexible schedule based on Joanne Trattoria’s entertainment calendar. Most shifts will take place during evenings and weekends.
