Foundedin 1985 by Board Chair Hon. John V. Lindsay, Executive Producer Bernard Gersten and Director Gregory Mosher, and led for 33 years by André Bishop,LCT is one of the leading nonprofit theaters in the country, producing an annual season of plays and musicals that have been seen by millions around the globe. It is one of 11 autonomous constituents of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

Each year, the three theaters that make up LCT welcome nearly 400,000 audience members to its home on the Lincoln Center campus . Over the last 40 years, LCT and its outstanding productions have received many of the highest accolades, including 91 Tony Awards, 181 Drama Desk Awards, 84 Outer Critics Circle Awards, 36 Obies, 13 NY Drama Critics Circle Awards, and one Pulitzer Prize, as well as two finalists.

Position Summary:

The Theater Manager LCT3/Claire Tow Theater ( AT PAM Man ager position ) is an integral part of the Company and House M anagement team. This individual acts as the primary liaison between the company, front-of-house, box office, and backstage teams during rehearsal periods and showtimes , and oversees audience services to uphold the theater’s reputation for excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities:

The Theater Manager LCT3/Claire Tow Theater is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and logistical operations and ensuring the smooth running of productions, as well as a welcoming, safe, and smooth front-of-house experience for all patrons, staff, and artists during performances and events.

This role works closely with G eneral M anagement , Art istic, Pro duction , Finance, and People and Culture teams to support artists, stagemanagers, and creative personnel. The role will report to the Artistic Director of LCT3 & Producer, and will manage Claire Tow Theater
-related personnel.

The ideal candidate is a member in good standing of ATPAM, highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced theatrical environment with a positive manner .

Responsibilities:

Company Management:

Managecompanyoperations for all productions, workshops, and special events .

As sist with the processing of contracts, union paperwork ( including but no t limited to AEA, SDC, USA , Local One ), and pr ocess weekly payroll.

Coordinate travel, housing, and per diem arrangements for visiting artists and creative teams.

Track and process reimbursements, petty cash, andcompanycredit card expenses.

Maintain accurate company files, contact lists, and production schedules.

Serve as a point of contact for company members, addressing day-to-day questions or concerns with discretion and professionalism.

Patron Experience & Front-of-House Operations:

Greet and assist patrons, ensuring a positive and professional experience from arrival to departure.

Manage the lobby and theater space before, during, and after performances.

Resolve customer service issues or patron concerns promptly and professionally.

Coordinate late seating and manage house entrance procedures in collaboration with stage management.

Assist with merchandise sales, special events , and concessions (if applicable).
