Administrative Paid Assistant Event Producer Broadway Plus New York, NY US 08​/03​/2026

Broadway Plus seeks an ambitious, personable, confident, and well-organized Assistant Event Producer to begin in September 2026. Founded in 2016, Broadway Plus is the first and only Broadway experience company, connecting guests to the magic of theater with unforgettable custom experiences. The ideal candidate is pursuing a career in commercial theater production or arts management. This full time role will assist the Director of Creative and Production with a wide variety of tasks involved in producing high quality live and virtual events.

This role requires in person attendance 5 days per week at Broadway Plus headquarters in Midtown Manhattan, plus additional hours in the evenings and on weekends for live event coverage, support, and production.

• Around-the-clock support for the Director of Creative and Production - in person, over email, chat, and phone - to manage a large number of current and upcoming events.
• Thorough and timely communication with Artists, Hosts, and Clients regarding details of upcoming events.
• Assisting in project management and extensive data entry in Salesforce.
• Acting as an “onstage” host as needed for in person and virtual events.
• Booking studio spaces, restaurants, ballrooms, and other venues.
• Tracking expenses, payments owed to Artists, and other event wrap up duties.
• General operations tasks, such as errand running, ticket pick ups and drop offs, bank runs, ordering prints of sheet music, and assisting other departments with data entry or other small projects as needed.

• Educational workshops (e.g. in voice, dance, acting, etc.) led by Broadway artists in studios in NYC, on site at schools outside of NYC, or virtually on Zoom.
• Corporate events including group dinners and meet and greets with Broadway artists.
• Private concerts performed by Broadway artists and musicians.
• Seasonal events (e.g. holiday parties).

• College degree or equivalent work experience in related field
• Highly detailed-oriented
• Proficiency across the Google Workspace suite
• Experience with data entry or databases (Salesforce or similar CRM)
• Ability to multitask (e.g. manage a large number of event details simultaneously)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated interest in Broadway theater and New York City
• Ideally has availability in evenings and weekends for events as needed
• Experience with theater and/or event production
• Ability to read music (a plus if you are familiar with arranging music)
• Familiarity with Garage Band, iMovie, Keynote, Canva are a plus
• Comfort setting up and operating A/V equipment (mic’s, speakers) is a plus

$50,000 per year. 3 month starter period, paid weekly as a contractor. After 3 months, paid as W2 employment plus benefits.
