DEVLINHAIR Productions, Inc. (DH) is seeking an experienced event professional to support the planning and execution of dynamic meetings and live experiences across our diverse client base. This opportunity may be filled at either the Producer or Executive Producer level, depending on the selected candidate’s experience, leadership background, and scope of prior production responsibility. This individual will serve as the primary production lead, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of meetings, conferences, product launches, training meetings, and other live and hybrid events.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior VP, Production, Learning & Activations, this individual is responsible for managing projects through every phase of production—from discovery and planning through on‑site execution and post‑event wrap‑up. Working closely with clients, account teams, creative, and production partners, this individual will oversee schedules, budgets, vendors, logistics, staffing, and on‑site operations to ensure flawless event delivery.

Key Responsibilities Event Planning & Production
  • Lead the planning and execution of conferences, meetings, conventions, trade shows, product launches, advisory boards, training events and corporate events.
  • Coordinate all phases of event production from kickoff through final reconciliation.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Serve as the primary production contact for assigned programs.
  • Partner with account, creative, strategy, and technical teams to deliver integrated event solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings, production calls, and planning sessions.
  • Communicate project status, timelines, and production updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage audiovisual production, staging, fabrication, entertainment, and event staffing.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, freelancers, and production partners.
  • Develop contingency plans and proactively resolve production challenges.
  • Oversee on‑site setup, rehearsals, show execution, and strike.
Budget Management
  • Develop and manage event budgets from proposal through final reconciliation.
  • Track expenses, vendor invoices, and budget forecasts.
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining quality and client expectations.
On‑site Event Management
  • Lead on‑site production teams and coordinate all event operations.
  • Manage executive presenters, rehearsals, speaker logistics, and show flow.
  • Ensure seamless execution of all production elements while maintaining a high level of client service.
  • Ability to resolve on‑site issues while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience producing corporate meetings, conferences, or live events. Candidates considered at the Producer level will typically have 5–8 years of relevant experience; candidates considered at the Executive Producer level will typically have 8+ years of experience and a demonstrated record of leading complex programs, production teams, and senior client relationships.
  • Experience working within an event production environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of live event production, venue operations, and production logistics.
  • Experience managing vendors, production budgets, and project schedules.
  • Familiarity with audiovisual production and event technology platforms.
  • Ability to travel as required and work on‑site during events.
  • Ability to commute to the New York City office two days per week.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience supporting a diverse client base is highly desirable.
