Job Responsibilities

This Count Room Coordinator is responsible for pulling, weighing wrapping slot drop revenue, stacking all currency, counting all chips and tokens, recording the receipts from all games, and assist in reconciling the count inventory.

Essential Duties
  • Collect, count and bundle vouchers and currency from gaming machines and bill acceptors.
  • Fill orders for booth fills and transports to cage locations; obtains proper signatures on fill documentation from cashiers and/or slot booth personnel; collects all bulk coin transfers from slot booths and cashiers.
  • Perform the following machine operator duties as assigned: accumulates currency to be counted and sorted by denomination; enters currency into the machine for count verification; straps counted currency; and seals all currency in plastic.
  • Weigh and Wrap process using Glory machines.
  • Comply with all department and company policies, procedures, internal controls and government regulations.
  • Attend periodic meetings and training sessions.
  • Demonstrate and provide outstanding customer and employee relations at all times.
  • Present oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least fifty (50) pounds, and varied instances of standing/walking.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required, second language a plus. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.

Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability

Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.

When on the property or some back of house areas, the noise level increases too loud.

Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner. Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Work/Educational Experience

Must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school or equivalent diploma and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the New York State Lottery regulations. Six (6) months experience through on-the-job training preferred.

Pay Transparency

$29.85 - $39.81
