Lighting Technician – Live Event & Touring Opportunity Gazillion Bubble Show | NYC / Touring The Gazillion Bubble Show is a long-running, internationally recognized theatrical production based in the Times Square theater district, celebrating 19+ years of continuous performances in New York City.
We are seeking a Lighting Technician to join our production team with the potential to extend into a paid touring position for the Gazillion Bubble Show from Spring–Summer 2026.
Professional live event environment—ideal for technicians in theater, music, and multi-artist showcase settings.

Schedule Overview
- September 1st - 3rd – Warehouse prep, Cabling, mounts, clamps, lighting, power pre-patching, Event planning and semi truck load-in & out
- September 7th - 11th – Load-in at venue, Unload equipment, Setup, patching, and programming, Rehearsals (most acts do not require rehearsal)
- September 12th SHOW DAY – Call time: TBD, Event runs: TBD
- Saturday & Sunday SHOW DAYS – 3 - 5 Shows per day
- Monday
- Friday 5 OFF DAYS - Coverage – Per Diem not provided, Tolls and approved external expenses covered, Lodging provided, Opportunity to be considered for future touring production work (2027)

Experience- Moderate experience in live event or theatrical lighting
- Ability to quickly patch, reposition, and adjust lighting fixtures as needed
- Comfortable making on-the-fly changes to accommodate different artists and performance styles
- Strong understanding of basic color, focus, and positioning
- Calm, efficient, and responsive in a fast-paced, multi-act environment
The Gazillion Bubble Show is a long-running NYC production with nearly 17 years of continuous performances in the Broadway theater district. Beyond our New York base, we tour nationally during major holidays, spring breaks, and summer seasons, bringing the show to high-profile venues and family audiences across the country.
We operate as a tight, multi-skilled touring crew. Lighting, audio, rigging, load-ins, and show support are shared responsibilities—no silos, no ego, no dumping work on one person. If something needs to get done, the team handles it together.
This position offers the opportunity to grow into a recurring touring role for upcoming seasons.
