Our client is a highly mission-driven multi-family office affiliated with an investment firm.
Senior Associate, EventsThey are seeking a Senior Associate, Events to join their team and take ownership of a diverse portfolio of events across the family office, affiliated organizations, and Partners. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a strong background in both corporate events and high-touch, bespoke personal events.
Location:Meatpacking District / West Village, NYC Work Model: 5 days onsite Compensation: $150–175K base + discretionary bonus + benefits
The role will support a group of Partners, with a primary focus on the senior Partners, developing a deep understanding of their preferences and providing a highly personalized level of service. Events may range from corporate gatherings and intimate dinners to private celebrations, children’s birthday parties, and other personal events.
Key Responsibilities:- Own events from initial concept and planning through day-of execution and post-event debrief
- Plan and execute corporate, internal, external, and bespoke personal events
- Partner closely with senior Partners to understand their preferences and deliver highly personalized experiences
- Manage event logistics, budgets, vendors, catering, contracts, and timelines
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners utilizing the new event space
- Build and maintain a strong network of high-quality vendors and event partners
- Develop systems, playbooks, and processes to create consistency and scalability
- Be onsite for events and serve as the point of escalation when needed
- Conduct post-event analysis and incorporate lessons learned into future planning
- 8+ years of corporate event planning and execution experience
- 4+ years of experience planning and executing bespoke personal events
- Proven experience creating polished, high-end experiences while managing budgets
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- High EQ and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives and external partners
- Discreet, polished, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a high-touch environment
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and remain composed when plans shift
Experience with Cvent, Smartsheet, MS Office, or similar event management platforms
