About the Role

Beyond 8 is seeking a full-time Event Production Director to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale experiential events nationwide. This is a senior leadership role for a seasoned production professional who brings clarity, confidence, and care to complex projects, teams, clients, and partners.

The Event Production Director is both strategic and hands‑on—setting the tone for projects, guiding internal teams, managing external partners, and ensuring every experience reflects Beyond 8’s high standards of excellence and intention.

This role will work closely with Brittney Escovedo, CEO & Founder of Beyond 8, and will serve as a key production partner to the leadership team. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating with a high degree of trust, ownership, discretion, and autonomy while maintaining strong communication and alignment with company leadership.

This role is hybrid/remote
, with New York-based candidates preferred. The position requires regular time in the NY market for key clients, events, and leadership collaboration, as well as the ability to travel nationally based on event schedules. In‑office collaboration is expected 1–2 days per week when working from New York.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary production lead and point of contact for planning and executing complex, large‑scale events
  • Work closely with the CEO & Founder to translate creative vision, client expectations, and business objectives into executable production plans
  • Partner cross‑functionally with creative, strategy, and production teams to align vision, resources, timelines, and execution
  • Oversee all event logistics, timelines, production workflows, and operational details from concept through strike
  • Lead client relationships with confidence, discretion, and professionalism
  • Communicate clearly and consistently across internal teams, vendors, clients, and stakeholders
  • Manage and oversee vendors including fabrication, A/V, lighting, security, permitting, rentals, catering, transportation, and more
  • Develop, track, and manage event production budgets ranging from $250K to $5M+
