- Oversee daily operations of the Slot Operations department on an assigned shift
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable federal and state regulations
- Support strategies for delivering exceptional guest service within Slot Operations
- Pay and/or verify jackpots over designated amounts according to property Internal Controls
- Create and manage daily and weekly team schedules
- Ensure proper application of federal currency transaction reporting requirements
- Provide courteous, professional, and timely guest service
- Resolve guest concerns with empathy, ownership, and follow-through
- Maintain strict security and accountability of keys, radios, handheld devices, and issued equipment
- Attend and actively participate in required meetings and training sessions
- Comply with the Company Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plan, including regulations related to minors and intoxicated guests
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED required; relevant experience may be considered
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a guest service or customer-focused role within a high-volume, complex casino or resort environment preferred
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with slot systems strongly preferred
- Technical understanding of a wide range of slot machines and systems with the ability to train others
- Comfortable using mobile devices, touch-screen technology, smartphones, and tablet applications
- Ability to learn and utilize player tracking systems and complimentary guidelines consistent with industry standards
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission (NRGC) Gaming License
- Must be available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require
- Position may involve exposure to secondhand smoke, extended standing and walking, loud noises, and occasional overtime
Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail while overseeing Slot Operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering exceptional guest service. Proficient in managing schedules, training staff, and utilizing slot systems and player tracking technologies.
