This position provides fundamental line producing support for Lincoln Center’s year-round programming. The Assistant Line Producer serves as the main liaison between the artists and Lincoln Center and will take the lead in advancing and running a wide range of performances including silent discos, family programming, music, dance, spoken word events, jazz and comedy nights. Shifts are subject to availability and skillset matches.

Reports to Associate Director, Chief of Staff, Programming.

Assistant Line Producers will:

  • Work closely with staff Producers and LCPA Curators and Directors in advancing and planning performances, projects and events for Lincoln Center.
  • Act as the main artist contact throughout the entire producing process; including but not limited to contracts, budgets, marketing materials, collecting tech and hospitality riders.
  • Creates a positive experience for artists and serve as the onsite representative; will be the point-person who ensures all concerns are addressed swiftly.
  • Work closely with Event Production Managers to run and advance shows: securing all production elements such as backline, equipment rental, and managing day-of schedules.
  • Support individual event budget management; make decisions that have a direct impact on the production related to rentals, housing, hospitality, and transportation.
  • Manage and maintain internal communications with Lincoln Center’s Departments; including Performance and Campus Operations,Production, Legal, People Team and Marcomm, as well as LCPA constituent colleagues as applicable
  • Support Curators and Producers in keeping track of overall timelines and schedules
  • Work with Contracts and Payment Coordinator to keep track of the issuing and execution of contracts and payments for all performances.
  • Manage, maintain, and update , Arts Vision and Sharepoint as needed.
  • Represent Lincoln Center onsite at all times.

You’ll bea fitif youhave:

  • 2-5 years of Line Producing experience in performing arts, touring, and/or production, with a keen interest in working with artists.
  • The ability and willingness to work outdoors during summer months, nights, and weekends.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast paced, results driven department/organization.
  • Excellent computer and organizational skills.
  • The capacity to demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to self-direct.
  • A passion for the performing arts.

Schedule & Availability Requirements:

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Occasional extended workdays may berequiredduring event load-in, rehearsals, and performances.
  • Must be available to attend and support events throughout the year, including outdoor seasonal programming.
  • Ability to adjust schedule to meet changing production timelines and operational priorities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during rehearsals, events, and productions.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to navigate performance venues, backstage areas, and event sites.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to remain active and responsive during live events and productions that may last several hours.
