As Coordinator, Commercial Partnerships at Sony Music Entertainment you will play a fundamental role in supporting the US Commercial Partnerships team which manages key commercial DSPs like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, Play Station and more. This role will include general administrative support, compiling detailed information and assets and need to be proficient and comfortable working with multiple pitch grids and be very detail oriented.

This role will also require creating compelling and visually appealing pitch decks, so a background and familiarity in design is a plus. The role reports to the SVP, Commercial Partnerships.

What you'll do:
  • Gather, organize, and distribute artist, release, and marketing assets for internal teams and external partners.
  • Maintain and distribute release schedules for multiple labels by gathering relevant info for each project and update changes
  • Direct support to DSP account team members who oversee releases responsibilities & relationships across Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Pandora, You Tube, Sound Cloud, & more.
  • Set-up and participate on retail sales/marketing calls & meetings while taking notes, and distribution of action items.
  • Monitor and communicate social media posting commitments across key artist campaigns.
  • Own end-to-end ticketing process by coordinating solicitations, collecting and managing requests, and ensuring timely communication with labels and external partners
  • Compiling key information across multiple departments such as release assets and track-level performance to be used for partner updates & internal reporting
  • Create visually compelling pitch decks and emails to highlight new release placements and artist opportunities
  • Serve as a flexible resource across the Commercial Partnerships team, stepping in to support evolving business priorities and high-profile releases.
Who you are:
  • You will have at least 1-2 year experience with working knowledge in music or entertainment industry with prior experience in music and sales/distribution strongly preferred.
  • You will have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • An extremely organized and detail oriented professional and be able to create and maintain various inbound requests, working project details and documents at one time
  • An exceptional communicator with extraordinary time management skills.
  • A proactive, flexible, self-starter who has strong problem solving, analytic, and interpersonal skills while being able to work independently.
  • You will have the ability to manage time and priorities set and achieve goals and juggle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.
  • Must be available and flexible outside core work hours to monitor new music releases, chart updates, and other important campaign tentpoles.
