Patomak is looking for a financial services compliance professional at the Analyst level to work on regulatory, risk, and compliance issues confronting derivatives clients, particularly trading platforms, exchanges, clearing houses and other financial services firms. Additionally, the Analyst plays an integral role in supporting the success of Patomak by supporting a variety of strategic, business development, operational, and administrative projects. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of relevant experience with or involving Designated Contract Markets (DCMs) and Derivatives Clearing Organizations (DCOs).

Job Duties:
- Contribute to coordination, regulatory gap assessments, and development of supporting materials for advisory and registration efforts of DCMs and DCOs.
- Provide project management support for engagements with derivatives market participants, including exchanges and clearing organizations.
- Contribute to reviews of clients’ internal control effectiveness, governance frameworks, operations, and trade and communication surveillance systems.
- Prepare written reports for clients on risk regulatory issues related to derivatives markets, digital assets, and/or other financial sector areas.
- Participate in projects to assess clients’ compliance programs against rules, regulations, and supervisory expectations.
- Assist with business development events as needed.
- Provide office administrative support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, specifically in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience at a DCM or DCO, or in a related role supporting exchange operations or clearing services.
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and deliver a quality product.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
- An interest in and basic understanding of the U.S. financial system. Familiarity with the U.S. financial regulatory process is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced individual and small team environment.
- Ability to establish, maintain, and grow effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Highly motivated and goal‑oriented; proactive in one’s own education and career progression; shows initiative.

$95,000-$150,000
Salary will be commensurate with experience, and employee will be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on individual performance and firm performance.
