NYC based, Top tier Investment Management Firm is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join its Corporate Finance team. The team is targeting a candidate with strong corporate FP&A, financial modeling skills, and the ability to manage a team.
The Financial Planning and Analysis ("FP&A") team plays a critical role in delivering economic insights and decision-making support to senior leadership, helping to drive the firm’s financial performance. The firm seeks an individual with strong FP&A experience, preferably within the financial services industry
FI to develop and enhance processes and analytics that facilitate more informed decision-making.
- Prepare monthly dashboards for senior management and stakeholders, reflecting results and performance.
- Analyze current and past trends in revenue, expenses, and other key performance indicators to improve the design and accuracy of financial forecasts.
- Lead the firm’s annual budget and forecasting processes by collaborating with the organization’s leadership to incorporate initiatives.
- Develop financial analyses that add value to decision-making and assess business performance.
- Partner with business units to develop financial models and analyses that support strategic initiatives, including product expansion economics.
- Participate in team-wide projects with the autonomy to innovate and develop new methods for analyzing the business.
- Work closely with the broader Finance organization, Risk, Corporate Strategy, enough HR on firm-wide initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in Financial Services.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present ideas effectively in written presentations and to small groups.
- Ability to interact with senior management, peers, and professional staff.
- Strong ability to communicate with impact to effectively manage upward and influence decisions.
- Quick learner with excellent attention to detail; demonstrable thoroughness and strong ownership of work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (macros Perú VBA are a plus).
- Advanced quantitative and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative team player with a strong willingness to participate and assist others.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving, high-pressure, and constantly changing environment; high sense of urgency.
