Bil AUM Systematic Hedge Fund is actively seeking a Senior Quantitative Researcher to join their NYC-based team. The ideal candidate will have experience in traditional stat arb or MFT at a recognized Hedge Fund or Proprietary Trading Firm and join an existing team that due to success is growing. Strong proficiency & programming in Python required and the ability to interface & work with developers & engineers on building tools & working with large data sets critical to the role.

On a day to day basis, this hire will focus on Alpha Signal generations, working with the existing models to refine & optimize to enhance outputs of the book. You will be tasked to work with large data sets spanning market, fundamental, alternative and various datasets to product ionize new strategies or refine existing.

Immediate hire

• 5+ yrs experience working within EQTY Stat Arb, Systematic EQTY trading or MFT a must
• Heavily research focused with a strong understanding of the global EQTY markets
• Preferred STEM or Engineering degree--advanced degrees a plus
• High proficiency in Python and C++ essential
• Strong communications skill set & collaborative team player willing to work across teams & stakeholders
• Comfortable presenting to team and investment leadership
• Strong collaborative work ethic
• Ability to be in-office full-time (midtown NYC)
