About June Point Lending
June Point Lending is making home ownership possible and more accessible for a creditworthy but underserved segment of the market: business owners, self-employed workers, and real estate investors. Being enterprising and independent shouldn’t mean getting shut out of the housing market – we’re here to fix that.
We’re automating mortgage loan underwriting with the goal of instant, real-time decisions, resulting in wider access and affordability. This speed, certainty and service for our B2B partners allows them to serve more home buyers, with the products they need, at market leading rates.
Role summaryAs an Operations Associate at June Point Lending, you’ll work directly with the founding team to take ownership of the loan fulfillment lifecycle, from underwriting through closing and sale into the capital markets. You’ll manage the day-to-day steps required to get loans across the finish line, while also looking for ways to automate, streamline, and improve the process as we scale.
This is a role for someone who is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and motivated to shape how our operations run.
Loan Management — Own the operational steps that move loans from underwriting through closing, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. Let’s help more people become homeowners.
Process Improvement — Identify inefficiencies in how loans flow through our system and propose smarter, faster ways to work.
Automation & Tools — Use technology such as LLMs, agents as well as rules-based automations to streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks as we scale.
Cross-Team Collaboration — Partner with underwriters, account executives, brokers, and closing agents to keep deals on track.
Operational Insight — Track key operational metrics, flag bottlenecks, and share insights with leadership to drive better decisions
Experience — Up to 4 years of professional experience in consulting, operations, finance, tech, or another environments where curiosity, detail and process matter (internship experience welcome)
Technical Savvy — Comfort with spreadsheets, workflow tools, and new technology; curiosity to learn and apply automation.
Problem-Solving Mindset — Ability to break down complex processes, spot inefficiencies, and propose practical improvements.
Ownership Mentality — Reliability to drive work forward without heavy oversight, paired with judgment to escalate when needed.
Collaboration Skills — Clear communication and a willingness to partner across functions in a fast-moving startup.
Growth Ambition — Excitement to become an expert in how loans are underwritten and closed while shaping how our operations evolve.
Competitive Salary, Benefits, and Equity – Salary range for this role is $70k – $120k annually, based on experience
Impact & Growth — You’ll work on an important and complex problem that is valuable to solve, not only for home buyers but for the broader housing ecosystem. As an early member of the team, you’ll get the chance to take on responsibility quickly, becoming a process owner and builder, not just an executor.
Tools & Autonomy — Access to modern tech and the freedom to test new ways of working, automate tasks, and leave your mark.
Culture — A lean, collaborative environment where we value speed, clarity, and character over hierarchy.
Strong Foundation — We are backed by a leading fintech VC and a global investment bank. Our repeat founders and founding team have extensive experience building in fintech and mortgage lending. We know what it takes to build and scale in complex industries.
