Client - Financial Services | Role - Private Wealth Compensation Analyst | Salary - $80, + Bonus | Location - NYC

We are seeking a high-performing Analyst to join a Private Wealth Production Compensation team within Finance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and brings strong analytical rigor along with a process-improvement mindset. You’ll support core compensation operations while helping modernize workflows and improve scalability.

Core Responsibilities Compensation Operations & Data Management
  • Support monthly compensation calculations for Wealth Advisors and Money Managers

  • Prepare, reconcile, and validate data inputs used in compensation models

  • Coordinate the production and distribution of monthly compensation statements and reports

  • Perform data validations, reconciliations, and variance analyses to ensure accuracy

  • Investigate discrepancies, document findings, and maintain audit-ready records

Reporting, Insights & Stakeholder Support
  • Produce recurring and ad-hoc reporting for senior Finance and Private Wealth leadership

  • Develop clear explanations and supporting materials for Advisors, Money Managers, and internal partners

  • Translate compensation data into insights that support decision-making

Process Improvement, Controls & Automation
  • Execute standardized controls and checklists to ensure consistent monthly delivery

  • Maintain and enhance process documentation and standard operating procedures

  • Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and modernize workflows using technology and AI

Collaboration, Systems & Change Support
  • Partner with Finance, Payroll, HCM, Private Wealth Administration, and Technology teams

  • Support system testing and validation when compensation plans, data sources, or tools change

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting, reporting, or analytical roles

  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets

  • Compensation or commission experience preferred; asset management experience a plus

  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

  • Tech-forward mindset with interest in AI and automation

  • Highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable working in a small, focused team
