This role is an Assistant Controller/Senior Accounting Manager, helping oversee the financial operations of a business that directly supports hospitals, transplant networks, and critical care providers across the U.S.—where precision, speed, and reliability truly matter.
In this role, you’ll serve as a strategic finance partner within a publicly listed, high-growth organization that’s expanding its footprint in the healthcare and transplant ecosystem. You’ll manage complex accounting processes across multiple entities, ensure accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and controls, and collaborate with leadership to streamline systems and scale operations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute month-end and year-end closing processes for real estate development projects, including reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and producing financial reports.
- Monitor and manage project costs, including construction expenses, land acquisition costs, and development-related expenditures. Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations.
- Work closely with vendors, reviewing and coding invoices, ensuring accuracy, and processing payments in a timely manner. Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies.
- Consolidate internal and external financial ledgers, reconciling intercompany accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting for the entire organization.
- Maintain and monitor project cash flows, ensuring adequate funding for development activities and identifying potential cash flow challenges.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of real estate development projects, assessing investment returns, profitability, and risk factors. Provide insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and reviews, ensuring accurate and timely provision of financial data and documentation.
- Handle various administrative tasks related to financial recordkeeping, document management, and other duties as assigned.
