Redding Ridge Asset Management LLC ("Redding Ridge") was established and seeded by Apollo Global Management, Inc. (together with its subsidiaries, "Apollo") in 2016. Redding Ridge has assets under management of approximately $44.2 billion as of October 31, 2025. Redding Ridge’s primary business consists of acting as collateral manager for CLO transactions and related warehouse facilities in both the U.S. and Europe.
Redding Ridge also provides structuring and ratings advisory services to issuers across various asset classes.
The Rating Associate will work at the forefront of innovation in the Private Credit universe. The work will involve a diverse range of rating advisory and rating management assignments across the Apollo Platform ecosystem and Corporate Originations platform as well as Apollo’s Private Equity business. In this role, the Associate will support the execution of complex rating advisory assignments, with a primary focus on financial services companies including specialty finance and asset management.
The Associate will also work on broad corporate ratings assignments as required for Apollo’s Private Equity and Credit Originations businesses.
- Develop analyses and presentations related to complicated credit and credit rating solutions.
- Model rating adjusted credit ratios, agency specific debt notching, hybrid equity credit analysis.
- Assess rating agency methodologies and formulate rating-grid based credit rating estimates.
- Evaluate growth and rating improvement opportunities for existing investments and platforms.
- Evaluation and assessment of potential new investment and platform opportunities.
- Providing rating advisory services to internal and external customers on an advisory basis.
- 2+ years of experience in investment banking, rating advisory, or capital markets.
- Strong financial modelling (incl. forecasting and projections), valuation and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of credit ratings, rating agency methodologies, notching models, and ratio adjustments.
- Grasp of basic credit knowledge and ability to analyse complex credit topics.
- Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and general research skills.
- Comfortable working with the agencies’ websites and models to find and source credit reports, conduct peer analysis and research methodologies and related documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex information clearly.
- Highly organized with strong time management; capable of handling multiple projects in parallel.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative and be accountable for work product.
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or other related fields, with a record of academic achievement.
