Location: New York
Position Summary
This role is designed for an experienced CFP® professional who wants to focus on deep planning, relationship stewardship, and client outcomes—without prospecting, marketing quotas, or firm management responsibilities.
Client Stewardship- Serve as Lead Advisor for ~40–50 assigned households
- Conduct review meetings and planning conversations
- Own relationship continuity and client satisfaction
- Escalate complex cases to Chief Advisor
- Build and deliver comprehensive financial plans
- Lead tax-aware planning, retirement projections, risk reviews
- Coordinate investment implementation with portfolio oversight
Maintain planning excellence across assigned clients
- Participate in internal planning review sessions
- Contribute to firm planning standards and best practices
- Mentor junior staff (if applicable)
- No Prospecting
- No Business development
- No Marketing
- No Firm management
- No Compliance ownership
- CFP® certification (active)
- 10–25 years client-facing advisory experience
- Prior responsibility for client relationships
- Comfortable advising HNW / mass affluent households
- Strong communicator who values teamwork over ego
