Base pay range$90,000.00/yr - $/yr
Broker dealer located in Midtown Manhattan looking to bring on board a “Trade Surveillance Foreign Exchange” to join their team. This role is currently in a hybrid schedule (2 days in office / week).
Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze FX trading activity to identify potential instances of market abuse, manipulation, or policy breaches using surveillance tools and exception reports.
- Review and investigate alerts generated by trade surveillance systems, escalating issues and documenting outcomes in line with regulatory and internal standards.
- Support regulatory compliance by ensuring trading practices align with relevant rules (e.g., FX Global Code, MiFID II, Dodd-Frank), and assist in audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, legal, and technology to enhance surveillance capabilities and ensure robust risk controls are in place.
