Overview
Our client, a leading CPG brand, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated CFO to oversee all financial operations and support ongoing growth. This senior leadership role includes responsibility for FP&A, accounting, reporting, operations, supply chain and business partnership. The ideal candidate has a strong background in consumer packaged goods, experience in a public company environment, and a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals and provide strategic guidance to the leadership team for informed decision-making.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities to inform financial decisions.
- Lead financial modeling, performance analysis, and reporting.
- Improve FP&A tools and processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze product and channel profitability, pricing, and promotions.
- Support supply chain cost management and inventory planning.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and public company reporting standards.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure timely, accurate reporting in compliance with SEC and SOX regulations.
- Manage internal controls and coordinate with external auditors. Support consolidated reporting and audit processes.
- Build and manage a high-performing finance team that promotes a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.
- Act as financial liaison with parent company and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s/CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles in CPG.
- Experience in a publicly traded company; strong knowledge of SEC and SOX requirements.
- Background in public accounting.
- Expertise in both FP&A and accounting functions.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Skilled in financial systems.
- Solid understanding of the beauty or CPG industry.
Salary:
Up to $350,000 base, commensurate with experience
