The Role

This is an IR Operations focused role, acting as the critical connective tissue between Investor Relations, Accounting, Operations, and Legal. You will support our IR team by managing the operational life cycle of our investor relationships, ensuring high-quality investor reporting, and spearheading the integration of our new technology systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • IR Operations & Technology: Take ownership of our CRM (Backstop), ensuring all data is accurate, up-to-date, and used to its full potential.
  • DDQ & AI System Management: Take a lead role in managing our new DDQ AI system (CENTRL). You will be responsible for loading data, training the AI, and answering DDQ/RFP inquiries on behalf of the IR team.
  • Investor Reporting & Documentation: Manage heavy investor reporting workflows, including quarterly investor letters, performance reporting, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Onboarding & Compliance: Load, verify, and process investor subscription documents in close coordination with Legal and Compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between Investor Relations and the Accounting/Operations teams to ensure seamless data flow regarding capital calls, redemptions, and performance data.
  • Work closely with the various internal teams for certain reporting requirements, including, Form PF, AIFMD, Annex IV, 13F, and other regulatory filings that may become necessary.
  • Create and improve existing solutions for changing regulations. Research upcoming changes. Work with service providers as need to ensure all required filings are accurate and timely.
  • Preparation of various monthly and quarterly reports for xxxx internal requirements as well as investors.
  • Ensure investor requests are resolved accurately and timely.
  • Keep CRM system up to date and accurate. Validate and ensure IRR data is accurate and presented as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Investor Relations Operations, Fund Operations, or Client Service at a hedge fund, or fund administrator.
  • Technology Savvy: High proficiency with Backstop CRM is required. Experience with DDQ AI systems (specifically CENTRL or similar platforms) is strongly preferred. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are necessary.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and email communication skills are required. You will be drafting investor responses and maintaining high-quality, professional correspondence.
  • Detail-Oriented: Absolute precision in reviewing data, investor documents, and reports is paramount.

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • A minimum of five years of direct experience in alternative investments investor relations, fund accounting, or fund administration
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel required (e.g. Pivot tables, Macros, etc)
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications extremely helpful. Excel, Alteryx, SS&C Advent Geneva portfolio accounting system, Backstop CRM System, as well as 3rd party applications and the ability to navigate propriety applications.
  • Ability to manipulate data using software or code to provide insight and analysis of data, along with strong analytical skills to interpret results.
