Senior Finance Associate

Our client is an investment banking advisory firm. They seek a Senior Finance Associate to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Support the Controller in preparing and maintaining non-compensation monthly, quarterly, and full-year budgets and forecasts across the US, EMEA, and Asia
• Synthesize complex financial analyses into clear, actionable insights to support strategic decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation across corporate functions
• Reconcile third-party vendor usage to verify the accuracy of invoicing and billing processes
• Assist in the preparation of management presentation materials for quarterly reviews
• Collaborate cross-functionally with global corporate groups, specifically Legal & Compliance, Finance, and Human Capital Group
• Partner with peers to investigate, explain, and resolve key budget and performance variances
• Collaborate closely with the Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate invoice processing, including coding invoices on behalf of business leaders, reviewing entries during month-end close, and initiating reclassifications or updates as needed
• Coordinate with the SEC and Accounting Policy team to provide support for regulatory filings, as needed
• Ensure month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes are completed accurately and on time
• Partner with Finance teams in the US and Europe to meet operational targets and support ad hoc projects as required

Requirements

• 6+ years of finance/accounting experience
• Open to industry, but financial services is a plus
