What role will you play?

The role is dedicated to Macquarie Capital Principal Finance – Private Credit. Investment opportunities span a range of private credit structures (primarily unitranche financings, as well as second lien debt, Hold Co PIK loans, and mezzanine debt or preferred equity). Team members are generalists investing across a range of industries, structures, and deal types.

Your primary responsibilities will be identifying, analyzing, executing, and managing attractive risk/return investment opportunities. Key day‑to‑day contributions will include:

  • Leading diligence conversations and efforts with internal teams, counter parties and external experts
  • Presenting in meetings including investment committee discussions
  • Gathering data from differentiated data sources to support investment theses with an evidence‑based approach
  • Preparing critical analysis including robust financial models, quality of earnings analysis, and KPI analysis
  • Distilling information into succinct investment committee memos / external presentations

Salary range for this position: $120,000 - $210,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. What

you offer
  • 1-4 years of experience in full‑service M&A, capital markets and/or investing
  • Strong analytical and technical aptitude, with extensive exposure to business analysis/research and financial modelling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proactive self‑starter with an ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment
