A leading middle-market investment bank or advisory firm may seek a Restructuring Analyst to support distressed M&A, turnaround strategies, and debt advisory
. These roles are ideal for candidates interested in financial restructuring, solvency analysis, and strategic advisory for companies in stress or transition
.

Build and maintain financial models (3-statement, DCF, LBO, liquidity forecasts, debt restructuring scenarios)

Conduct industry research, distressed company analysis, and benchmarking to support restructuring plans

Support debt refinancing, distressed M&A, recapitalizations, and turnaround engagements

Prepare pitch books, restructuring memoranda, and client presentations

Assist with due diligence, creditor communications, and transaction execution

Collaborate with senior bankers and restructuring specialists across strategic, financial, and operational workflows

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline

Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis

Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities

Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, restructuring, corporate finance, or consulting is beneficial

Proficiency in Excel, Power Point , and common financial research tools
