RepresentativeRole Overview
A leading middle-market or boutique investment bank may seek an Analyst – Mergers & Acquisitions to support deal execution, valuation, and strategic advisory. These roles are ideal for early-career professionals looking for hands-on exposure to transactions, financial modeling, and client-facing work in the M&A space.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain financial models including 3-statement projections, DCF, LBO, and accretion/dilution analyses
Conduct industry, company, and market research to support valuations and transaction recommendations
Support live M&A transactions including buy-side and sell-side engagements
Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, and client presentations
Assist with due diligence, data room management, and deal execution tasks
Collaborate with senior bankers on transaction strategy, client interactions, and workflow management
Contribute to post-transaction analyses and integration support
Desired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation methodologies
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or early-career experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, audit, or corporate finance is advantageous
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools
