A leading investment bank or advisory firm may seek a Capital Structure Analyst to support capital structure optimization, debt and equity financing, and strategic financial advisory for corporate clients. These roles are ideal for candidates seeking hands-on experience in financial modeling, capital allocation, and transaction analysis.

Build and maintain capital structure models, including debt/equity allocation, leverage ratios, interest coverage, and scenario analysis

Conduct industry research, benchmarking, and financial analysis to evaluate optimal financing structures

Support live M&A transactions, recapitalizations, refinancing, and capital markets deals

Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, and client presentations

Assist with due diligence, data room management, and transaction execution

Collaborate with senior bankers across deal structuring, capital planning, and client strategy workflows

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline

Strong skills in financial modeling, capital structure analysis, and valuation techniques

Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities

Ability to handle multiple work streams in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, corporate finance, leveraged finance, or financial advisory is beneficial

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools
