A leading middle-market or bulge-bracket investment bank may seek a FIG Analyst to support transactions, financial modeling, research, and client deliverables for financial institutions. These roles are ideal for candidates looking to combine rigorous analytical work with exposure to M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory for banks, insurance companies, asset managers, fintechs, and specialty finance firms.

Build and maintain financial models (3-statement, DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution) for financial institutions

Conduct industry research, benchmarking, and valuation analyses for banks, insurance companies, asset managers, fintechs, and specialty finance firms

Support live M&A, capital markets, and restructuring engagements within the financial services sector

Prepare pitch books, client presentations, and investment memoranda focused on financial institutions deals

Assist with due diligence, data room management, and transaction execution

Collaborate with senior bankers and sector specialists on FIG client strategy and deal execution

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques

Knowledge of banking, insurance, asset management, or fintech business models and regulatory environments is a plus

Excellent quantitative, research, and communication abilities

Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Prior internship or full-time experience in finance, investment banking, consulting, or financial institutions is beneficial

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research platforms
