A growing credit-focused investment manager is seeking a Senior Operations Associate to join a highly collaborative operations team. This is a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to complex fixed income products while helping scale and enhance best-in-class operational infrastructure.

Job Description:- Assist in managing, reconciling, and processing activity across multiple portfolios, including structured credit, repos, syndicated and private loans, TRS, and other fixed income products
- Support credit events and lifecycle processing across the companies various investment vehicles
- Work closely with Administrators and Prime Brokers to reconcile cash, positions, and P&L, including maintaining a full shadow set of books and records
- Assist with daily trade management workflows, including trade entry, portfolio pricing, and entity allocations
- Interact regularly with internal teams, third-party service providers, overseas operations teams, banks, and counter parties
- Help develop and enhance best-in-class operational processes and procedures as the firm grows in AUM and complexity
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency through automation and process improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry; relevant fund experience preferred
- Specific knowledge of financial instruments including credit facilities, structured credit, syndicated and private loans, and repos
- High level of technical comfort with systems and technology, including FIS VPM, IVP products, Portfolio
BI OMS, reconciliation systems, Citco platforms, and CTM/ALERT (preferred) - Advanced Excel skills required; VBA experience preferred
- Proactive mindset with a focus on automation and process enhancement
- Strong attention to detail and high level of organization
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Comfortable communicating with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including direct interaction with fund administrators
