RepresentativeRole Overview
A leading middle-market or bulge-bracket investment bank may seek a Technology Investment Banking Analyst to support technology-focused transactions, financial modeling, research, and client deliverables. These roles are ideal for candidates looking to combine rigorous analytical work with exposure to M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory in the technology sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain financial models (3-statement, DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution) tailored to technology companies
Conduct industry research, market benchmarking, and valuation analysis for software, hardware, SaaS, cloud, and digital media companies
Support live M&A, capital markets, and financing engagements within the technology sector
Prepare pitch books, investor presentations, and client-facing memoranda focused on technology opportunities
Assist with due diligence, data room management, and transaction execution for tech deals
Collaborate with senior bankers and sector specialists on technology client strategy and deal execution
Desired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
Knowledge of technology industry dynamics, business models, and market trends is a plus
Excellent quantitative, research, and communication abilities
