The Market Intelligence Specialist – Private Capital supports investment and business development teams by providing research, analysis, and actionable insights on private capital markets. Conduct in-depth research on private capital markets, including private equity, venture capital, real assets, and credit

Analyze market trends, fundraising activity, deal flow, valuations, and competitive dynamics

Track and benchmark fund and portfolio performance, including peer comparisons and sector insights

Build and maintain dashboards, databases, and analytical tools to deliver actionable insights

Prepare daily, weekly, and ad-hoc market intelligence reports for senior management and investment teams

Identify emerging opportunities, market shifts, and strategic trends relevant to the firm’s investment focus

Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting for internal stakeholders

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related field

Strong understanding of private capital markets, investment vehicles, and fundraising processes

Experience or coursework in market research, investment analytics, or private equity/venture capital (preferred but not required)

Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail

Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with databases, SQL, Python, or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
