The Transaction Execution Specialist supports investment and operations teams by managing the end-to-end execution of transactions. This includes processing trades and investment deals, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
This role requires meticulous attention to detail, process management skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The position works closely with deal teams, finance, legal, and portfolio management teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecute and process investment transactions, including private equity, credit, and venture capital deals
Prepare, review, and maintain transaction documentation, confirmations, and contracts
Ensure timely and accurate settlement of all trades and investment activities
Coordinate with internal teams, counter parties, custodians, and service providers to resolve transaction issues
Monitor transaction workflows, deadlines, and milestones to identify potential risks or bottlenecks
Maintain and update transaction tracking systems, dashboards, and reports
Ensure compliance with internal policies, fund guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Prepare daily, weekly, and ad-hoc execution reports for management and investment teams
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Strong understanding of investment transactions, trade processing, and operational workflows
Experience or coursework in transaction execution, fund operations, or investment support (preferred but not required)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL, workflow management, or reporting tools is a plus
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Interest in investment operations, transaction management, and process improvement
