Convertible & Equity Derivatives Advisory Associate

Role Description: ICR Capital, one of the most highly regarded Capital Markets Advisory firms, is seeking a highly motivated Individual to fill an Associate position on its Convertible & Equity Derivatives Advisory team. This client-facing role will work closely with team members in providing advisory services for companies pursuing the full range of equity-linked capital-raising alternatives.

The person will focus on the technical accounting side of the deal process with the opportunity to gain exposure in other areas.

Level: Associate

Responsibilities include:

• Leading execution role on the accounting workstream of convertible and equity derivative transactions including convertibles, securities, call spreads / capped calls, and share repurchases
• Assist in researching technical accounting literature on complex structures
• Assist in preparing new business presentations and marketing materials

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of technical accounting experience in the Big 4 advisory practice
• With solid knowledge of US GAAP financial instruments related accounting such as ASC 260, 480, and 815
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Interested in learning convertible bonds pricing is a plus
• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
