Reporting to the Group Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Senior Finance Business Partner will drive the financial performance and support strategic decision-making for Alter Domus’ Lines of Business (Global Private Equity, Global Private Credit and Global Real Assets) and the Commercial function. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of FP&A processes, sales operations and revenue generation and experience partnering with Executive leaders.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a partner and trusted financial advisor to the Global Head of Private Equity, the Global Head of Private Credit, the Global Head of Real Assets and the Chief Commercial Officer, ensuring their financial targets are achieved. Primary responsibility over Global Private Equity, while supported by a team of Finance Business Partners for the other LOBs.
• Drive the development of PE, PC, RA and Commercial function annual budgets, producing a roadmap and critical path of key deliverables and activities throughout the year to establish a clear cadence around planning, monitoring and reporting against the budgets.
• Provide value-added commentary and insights into the performance of the PE, PC and RA LOBs and the Commercial function from a finance and budget perspective on a monthly basis – including in the Monthly Reviews with the CEO and CFO, and presentations to the Global Leadership Team and Board – and ensure actions are taken to address any risks or areas of underperformance.
• Conduct variance analysis to illustrate how the budget and/or rolling forecast compares against actual performance.
• Coordinate with the Central FP&A team and Financial Analytics to leverage technical resources for data analysis and reporting. Ensure that financial data is accurately captured and reported.
• Work closely with the sales operations team to understand sales processes, performance metrics, and commercial activities, fostering strong relationships with Commercial leaders to ensure alignment between finance and sales objectives.
• Monitor and report on commercial activities, providing insights into performance against targets. Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs related to sales and revenue.
• Contribute to the annual 5-year strategic long-term plan.
• Assist in corporate activities relating to the raising or sale of equity or debt financing as required.
• Assist in the financial, tax and other due diligence of prospective acquisitions, and ensure that completed acquisitions are promptly and fully assimilated into the business and synergies realised.
• In collaboration with the Financial Control team, ensure a robust internal control environment and promptly address any internal or external audit recommendations pertaining to the Commercial Function.
• As a senior leader of Alter Domus, you will maintain a relentless focus on cost and budget discipline, driving a culture of accountability.
