The Syndication Specialist supports investment and fund teams by managing the syndication of investment opportunities, coordinating with investors, and ensuring smooth execution of capital commitments. This role blends financial analysis, investor communication, and operational coordination to help raise and manage capital efficiently.
The position involves close collaboration with portfolio managers, investor relations teams, legal and compliance teams, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in structuring and syndicating investment opportunities to institutional and qualified investors
- Coordinate investor communications, including term sheets, subscription documents, and updates
- Maintain accurate records of investor commitments, allocations, and capital calls
- Support the preparation of investor reports, presentations, and dashboards
- Track syndication progress, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely execution of capital transactions
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure documentation and regulatory requirements are met
- Identify operational or transactional risks and propose process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong understanding of private capital markets, fund structures, and syndication processes
- Experience or coursework in financial analysis, capital raising, or investor relations
- Advanced analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with CRM or investor management platforms is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in private equity, co-investments, and investor relations
