Director of Finance – Upscale Restaurant Group
$135,000 - $150,000 + Bonus

The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing finance and accounting operations while partnering with leadership to support operational and financial performance. Primary responsibilities include:
- Lead the Finance and Accounting team, with the ability to effectively manage and collaborate with a remote workforce
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, while partnering closely with Treasury to support cash management and liquidity planning
- Develop, implement, and maintain finance / accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Manage the monthly close process, including review and approval of account reconciliations and financial reports
- Analyze and review weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and provide actionable insights
- Support external audit processes by coordinating documentation, schedules, and auditor requests
- Direct and coordinate tax compliance and reporting processes in collaboration with internal and external partners
- Partner with Operations leadership to provide financial guidance, budgeting support, and performance analysis
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance and/or accounting function, with increasing levels of responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA strongly preferred
- CPA strongly preferred
- Hospitality industry experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience managing teams of up to 15 employees, including Accounts Payable required
- Capital markets experience is a plus, especially related to debt financing, growth initiatives, or expansion projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Proven leadership and people management skills, including mentoring and team development
