Private Capital Structuring Associates support fund managers, legal counsel, and finance teams in the structuring, organization, and management of private capital funds and investment vehicles. The role blends financial modeling, operational coordination, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced investment environment.
This position involves close collaboration with investment, legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure fund structures are efficient, compliant, and aligned with investor requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in structuring and modeling private capital vehicles, including equity, debt, and hybrid instruments
Support the preparation and review of fund documents, limited partnership agreements, and subscription materials
Coordinate with legal, finance, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and investor expectations
Monitor capital commitments, fund closings, capital calls, and distributions
Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools for fund structuring insights
Identify opportunities to optimize fund structures, investment workflows, and reporting processes
Prepare analyses, summaries, and ad-hoc reports for senior management, investment committees, and investors
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Understanding of private capital fund structures, investment vehicles, and capital deployment strategies
Familiarity with private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or alternative investments is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with financial modeling, SQL, or operational tools is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interest in private capital, fund structuring, and investment operations
