Compensation:
$200–$500/hour or transaction-based earnings, depending on scope, deal size, and advisory engagement

Deal Advisory Mentors are a key tier of our ecosystem—providing high-touch, transaction-focused guidance to sponsors, funds, and investors while benefiting from earning opportunities and enhanced credibility across a trusted private markets network.

Initio Sphere is onboarding Deal Advisory Mentors to support fund managers, investors, and deal sponsors with strategic deal guidance across the transaction lifecycle.

This is not a traditional employment role. Mentors operate as independent contractors and are activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Mentors:

Advise on deal structuring, transaction strategy, and execution decision-making

Support sponsors and funds through diligence, negotiation, and closing strategy

Mentor analysts and deal scouts, strengthening deal judgment and execution readiness

Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

Build a verified Mentor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for seasoned deal professionals who can translate hands-on transaction experience into strategic advisory and mentorship.

Approved Deal Advisory Mentors may:

Advise fund managers and sponsors on deal strategy, structuring alternatives, and timing

Provide diligence oversight, risk assessment, and negotiation guidance

Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling logic, diligence execution, and IC readiness

Offer portfolio-level advisory, including add-ons, refinancings, or exit preparation

Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or strategic co-investors

Mentors focus on high-level deal advisory, transaction judgment, and mentorship, rather than day-to-day transaction processing or full-build modeling unless explicitly approved.

Deal structuring, transaction strategy, and execution planning

Investment committee support and decision-making frameworks

Diligence oversight, risk mitigation, and negotiation strategy

Portfolio transactions, exits, and capital events

Mentorship and technical training for analysts and deal scouts

Approval is granted based on transaction experience, deal outcomes, and demonstrated ability to advise on real, executed transactions.

Mentors are independent contractors

Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, transaction history, and engagement scope

Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory contributions to closed deals

Payments issued after completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

No cap on earning potential for consistent, high-impact deal advisory contributions

Submit a Mentor application detailing background and deal experience

Complete verification and category approval

Receive promotion within the Initio Sphere platform

Begin advising funds, sponsors, and analysts on approved engagements

This process ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to real opportunities.

Provide investment advice to the public

Solicit securities

Market investments outside approved channels

Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All mentoring and advisory activity must comply with applicable securities laws and remain focused on strategic deal guidance, transaction insight, and mentorship.

Ex-IB, PE, VC, or senior fund professionals with strong deal execution experience

Deal-focused operators or founders with hands-on transaction leadership

Senior advisors capable of mentoring analysts and scouts on deal judgment and execution
