Description & Requirements
Bloomberg is looking for a driven reporter to break news in the structured finance markets, with a specific focus on the rapidly growing world of asset-based finance. You will be responsible for breaking news on current and upcoming deals in that market as well as new products and key regulatory changes. You'll work with a larger group of reporters that are chronicling the expansion of private markets as well as more traditional financial products including mortgage bonds, collateralized loan obligations and asset-backed securities.
The ideal candidate will have skills in developing sources, breaking news, and identifying the biggest trends in finance.
- Break news on asset-based finance and other structured credit deals while building market sources that help you connect the dots
- Be comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment
- Be innovative and think creatively about ways to reach both the market pros as well as a broader audience of business-savvy readers
You ll need:
- Previous experience in financial journalism or credit markets
- Ability to write quickly and clearly under deadline pressure
- An ability to spot trends, find holes in stories and work with reporters to deliver impactful news to our readers

Salary Range = USD Annually+ Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company s good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
