Job Description

We are seeking a high performing Vice President to join our inbound financial institutions coverage team focused on US subsidiaries of global insurers, asset managers, private capital and other non-bank financial institutions. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, relationship-driven environment and wants to deepen their strategic exposure to decision makers across treasury, capital markets and risk management.

The VP will take primary responsibility day-to-day coverage of select existing client relationships while driving efficient execution across product opportunities. You will partner closely with the NBFI lead driving growth and expansion of the US portfolio.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of established NBFI relationships with a focus on proactive engagement, account planning and servicing coordination
  • Drive wallet retention through frequent dialogue, client needs assessment and identification of cross-sell opportunities
  • Lead credit and capital allocation for your portfolio, including financial analysis, risk assessment and approvals
  • Partner with product teams to originate and execute banking and markets solutions that meet clients’ strategic objectives
  • Support strategic growth initiatives with targeted research, pitch development and senior level presentations
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline discipline and contribute to business planning, forecasting and relationship review materials
  • Leverage insights from regulatory, tax and accounting developments relevant to foreign owned financial institutions operating in the US
  • Help mentor junior talent, promoting a high performance and collaborative team culture
Experience and skills
  • 5-7 years of corporate and investment banking experience with exposure to FIG
  • Strong working knowledge of bank products and capital solutions geared towards NBFI’s
  • Exceptional client facing skills, confident communicator able to manage senior level interactions
  • Proactive relationship orientated mindset- comfortable owning accounts and representing the bank across internal and external stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business, MBA preferred.

Pay range $ - $ annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible. This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
