The Capital Markets Strategy Manager leads strategic initiatives and analytical programs that enhance trading, investment, and capital allocation decisions across markets. This role blends deep market knowledge, quantitative analysis, and strategic insight to optimize performance, identify opportunities, and support senior leadership in decision‑making.
The position works closely with trading desks, portfolio managers, risk teams, and market analysts to align capital markets strategies with business objectives and emerging market trends.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to optimize trading, execution, and capital deployment across asset classes
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, liquidity assessment, and competitive benchmarking to inform strategy
- Build and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and tools to track market trends, performance, and risk exposure
- Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and risk teams to align market strategies with business objectives
- Identify inefficiencies, structural market opportunities, and areas for operational improvement
- Prepare strategic reports, presentations, and insights for senior management and stakeholders
- Support business initiatives that enhance execution quality, capital efficiency, and portfolio performance
- Monitor regulatory developments and market structural changes that impact strategy implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of capital markets, market structure, and trading instruments
- Experience or coursework in market strategy, capital allocation, or quantitative analysis (preferred but not required)
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or data visualization tools is a plus
- Ability to communicate complex insights clearly to cross‑functional teams and leadership
