Portfolio Advisory Associates support portfolio managers and investment advisory teams by providing research, analysis, and operational support for client portfolios. The role blends quantitative analysis, portfolio monitoring, and investment insight delivery in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
These roles involve close collaboration with portfolio managers, investment analysts, client advisors, and risk/compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and review of portfolio performance reports and client-facing presentations
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of portfolio holdings, asset allocation, and risk exposures
- Support portfolio managers in monitoring and rebalancing portfolios according to investment guidelines
- Assist with due diligence on investment strategies, managers, and products
- Prepare market, sector, and asset-class analysis to inform investment decisions
- Monitor portfolios for adherence to mandates, restrictions, and compliance requirements
- Support client onboarding, reporting, and periodic portfolio review processes
- Collaborate with operations and risk teams to ensure data accuracy and smooth execution of investment decisions
- Identify opportunities to enhance portfolio processes, reporting, and client experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of portfolio management, asset allocation, and investment products
- Experience or coursework in investment analysis, portfolio construction, or wealth management (preferred but not required)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and portfolio analytics tools; familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or Bloomberg is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a client-focused, fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
