Investment Advisory Specialists support investment teams and clients by analyzing investment opportunities, advising on portfolio strategy, and assisting with fund and capital allocation. The role blends quantitative analysis, market research, and client advisory in a fast-paced investment environment.
These roles often involve collaboration with portfolio managers, client advisors, risk management, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing investment strategies and portfolio recommendations for clients and institutional portfolios
- Analyze market trends, asset classes, and investment vehicles to support portfolio allocation decisions
- Prepare investment reports, presentations, and advisory materials for clients and internal stakeholders
- Monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and capital deployment activities
- Coordinate with operations, compliance, and legal teams to ensure investment processes and documentation are accurate
- Conduct due diligence on funds, private placements, and alternative investment opportunities
- Maintain dashboards and tools to track investment performance, allocations, and client reporting
- Identify opportunities to optimize portfolio outcomes and improve investment processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
- Knowledge of investment strategies, portfolio management, and capital markets
- Experience or coursework in investment advisory, private capital, wealth management, or corporate finance (preferred but not required)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with portfolio management software or financial modeling tools is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
