Position OverviewCapital Advisory Associates support investment and client teams by analyzing capital deployment opportunities, providing insights on investment structures, and assisting in the execution of capital strategies. The role blends quantitative analysis, market and fund research, and advisory support in fast-paced investment environments.
This role often involves collaboration with investment professionals, portfolio managers, client advisors, and risk and compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities- Support capital deployment strategies and investment advisory processes
- Conduct analysis of investment opportunities, fund structures, and financing options
- Assist in evaluating client or institutional portfolios for allocation, diversification, and capital efficiency
- Prepare presentation materials and reports for clients, investment committees, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor capital calls, distributions, and investment lifecycle events across funds and portfolios
- Partner with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure documentation and approvals are accurate
- Conduct market, sector, and asset-class research to inform capital allocation decisions
- Maintain dashboards and analytical tools to track capital deployment, risk, and performance metrics
- Identify opportunities to optimize capital structures and enhance portfolio outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of capital markets, fund structures, and portfolio management concepts
- Experience or coursework in investment advisory, private capital, or corporate finance (preferred but not required)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with portfolio management or financial modeling tools is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused, and regulated environment
- Interest in investment strategy, capital planning, and portfolio advisory
